this is what I want to say to those who are disappointed with their Mother-Tongue results today
so yea, at around 11:45pm, during eng lesson, the whole class was fidgety as at 12pm, we would all proceed to the hall to collect our MTL result, like O level result collection manner.
after sitting down to in order of register number (i was fourth), Mr Tang and Mdm Ong briefed us a bit on our behaviour and results respectively.
so i was fidgeting like hell cos i was so nervous. Ms Pand, my form teacher, said "Expect the worst and hope for the best". well, i'm speechless. so when i got my result:
21162 (1)(M)
(subject) (grade for the subject) (grade for oral and listening compre)
i have nothing to say! YAY! i got A1 for the A1 paper! but Merit for oral and listening compre. yes, i was disappointed but i have nothing to say! i got my first result for my O's and i'm glad i got an A1! yes, some ppl screamed (Wan Ping) some ppl cried (Joyce and Liying). this kinda situation, it's always like that.
however, for those who are unhappy with their result could retake with their other subjects at the end of the year. a second chance! so i really want to say
"never lose hope. you don't know what tmr will bring"
or rather the end of the year would bring. so JY to those who wanna retake.
as for me, i can't retake listening compre and oral so i can't change the grade. what's there is there. OH WELL!
called my mum after that and she said it was good but the oral score seem to be a flaw on my cert. i agree. it's a huge blow as next week i'm gonna take my EL oral and my eng is not as good as my chinese. so if my chinese gets a Merit, i don't wanna see what will happen to my EL. however, i would still STRIVE FOR MY BEST!! so after i got home, i called dad. he seemed happy! hahahah! i told him i would continue to work hard for my other subject.
ok i shall end this right now as this week i'm so sleep-deprived that i have to go sleep now! oh oh and this week is a long week due to HARI RAYA PUASA!! WOOHOO!
catcha later!
